You’ve got the terminology all wrong there. Cuckold is not what you call a man who has sex with 2 or 3 women at a time. Yet another area that you need to educate yourself around it seems. We’ve got a date with our girlfriend in a couple of days. Perhaps I’ll write about it. In the meantime, you can read this one.

Condescending: con·de·scend·ing

adjective: condescending

having or showing a feeling of patronizing superiority.

Mansplaining: man·splain

gerund or present participle: mansplaining

(of a man) explain (something) to someone, typically a woman — about her own experiences, body, or area of expertise, in a manner regarded as condescending or patronizing.

Where to start Elle? First off, no one said everything was peachy keen. Juts (sic) not everyone buys into your hysterics.

This is a both a condescending and patronizing statement. You’re tone implies that I haven’t the first idea what I’m talking about. Rather than seeking to clarify something, it seeks to point out what a dolt I am. Using the word “hysterical” with a woman is also inherently patronizing and condescending because it implies that women are not capable of rational thought.

adjective: hysterical

  1. 1.
deriving from or affected by uncontrolled extreme emotion.

“So, I ask is my reality less than yours just because it’s different? “

Well yes, because you are not a woman and have not had the same lifelong experiences that I have or that most women have had. The fact that you even asked this question is also condescending, in part because you are discounting my lived experience but also the well-documented lived experience of 80% of other women. You are egotistically assuming that because you have not experienced what I have that it has not happened to me — I’m simply over-exaggerating. I have documented this number I’m asserting using various sources outside of myself and you still refuse to believe it and openly mock it, even though you do not have any data that refutes mine.

“As for numbers — your continued over inflation does more harm than good.”

Those aren’t my numbers and it shows how biased you are that you would assume they were — those are the numbers from the Center for Disease Control and other governmental agencies whose task it is to monitor such things.

“Elle, you’re very snarky. I’m aware of where the numbers came from (you linked to the CDC).”

And yet, you discount them out of hand with no supports for why that is a reasonable thing to do. You act like they are my numbers, but when reminded that they aren’t, you personally attack me for not just rolling over and allowing your unsubstantiated claim to stand. I’m not sure that there is a name for this dynamic that doesn’t involve a lot of four letter words and one 7 letter word that begins with A.

I could go on and on and on with the examples, but it would take too much time. If you truly have no idea how pompous, condescending, and filled with dichotomous ideas you are, I’m not sure that my continued examples will make any impact anyhow.

Merry Christmas!

Edit: and I see now that I have presumed you are a man, but it’s because you speak in the dismissive and condescending way that men do about experiences they have never had and don’t particularly understand. If I have presumed incorrectly, I apologize.
