You, my friend, are the one with the feelings. I’ve presented you with theories that are based in science and data and you have reacted to those with emotion. I already linked you information about Catalhuyuk, a neolithic agricultural society that existed peacefully and with egalitarianism for nearly 3K years.

I’m a sociologist, so I don’t need a lecture from you about that. I did not present personal value judgements, I presented the components of the social system of patriarchy. If you don’t like those, or feel threatened by them, that is your emotional response.

I also don’t need to broaden my reading. I’m very well versed in this topic from a wide variety of sources and have written maybe 13 stories about it this year alone — all of which are chock full of citations and references. How about you update your reading, since you are unaware of many of the things that I’ve spoken about?

Why don’t you try not be so condescending? You would be less likely to get an abrupt response to your comments.
