Yes, I think Rose at MyErotica would really like this and it will garner a lot more views that way. The only downside, they don’t have revinue sharing which means that she takes all the income if she publishes, but it’s exposed me to a lot more readers, who then often become followers of my other stuff.

Besides, I’m not doing it for the money… Its just really freeing to get to talk honestly about things that are integral to who I am as an authentic whole woman, but that I mostly have to hide from 95% of the people in my world. People respond way, way more to that stuff than the things I write which are more overtly political, although I’ve realized that my niche is really an overlap — how sexuality plays out in politics and society, e.g., my Nipple Madness story.

And I think that people respond so well not just because there’s sex involved but because I write about sexual relationships, not just transactional word version of porn. One of my most popular stories was the Morning Quickie that I literally put together in 10 minutes after just such a thing. It was fairly short and not that erotically descriptive or explicit, but people ate it up. I think most people live tired, shallow lives constrained by social mores and expectations and they like to read about people who are living life out loud.

Really happy that you decided to take the plunge and I look forward to hearing more. At some point I’ll no doubt do a dog story because ours is a character, so thanks for the ad on that.

You can just email Rose@myerotica.com to ask her if she will add you if you decide to go that route. It is a nice twist to go from feeling like that part of yourself is socially unacceptable to feeling it be honestly embraced and admired.
