Wow — you’ve had a lot going on as well. Thanks for sharing all of that and for your good wishes. I do try to keep good self-care habits, but sometimes they are better than others. I am of the mind that you can’t pour from an empty cup.

Up until now she’s mostly been fine living in her home with her housekeeper as assistant, although this woman cleans other people’s houses on most days, but at least is there in the evening -someone to eat with and to clean up the dishes, which has been wonderful. But now with this recent health crisis, it’s hard to know if that is going to be enough. She really, really, really doesn’t want to go into a facility and so if we can manage it, with perhaps a bit more care, then I will try to make that work for her. It is mentally and emotionally exhausting however.
