When I was in college I took a required health class, and selected Human Sexuality as the least boring of the possible options. In this class I learned that most people are on a continuum of bi-sexuality, with a few entirely hetero or homosexual people at either end. It made sense to me, but it wasn’t until many years later that I started having opportunities to be with women and discovered that I’m more than just a little bi-sexual. What’s really odd, as I explore this new landscape, is that I’m learning how marginalized and scoffed at bi-people often are. The whole thing about “gay, straight or lying” seems to be the most commonly held belief. Apparently, even female porn stars are just doing it for show, or so some people think. Fortunately, this does seem to be changing, at least a little bit.

I’ve been talking with some other female writers here on Medium about how we’d really love to play with some bi-sexual men, although men more than women seem to be often pushed into a box of choosing one or the other. It will be a great day when that is no longer the case!
