Ugh, I hate that kind of thing but encounter it all too often. Calling out bad behavior is not it’s own kind of bad behavior, although all too often it’s framed that way, particularly when someone is “supposed” to be lower down the pecking order dares to contradict someone with more traditional status. The nerve of her!

The corollary to this is the “why didn’t you write about the unjust thing that upsets me if you care so much about injustice?” This is typically used as a way to change the topic when they can’t actually rebut what you’ve said.
