Thanks and very good point about P&G products being rather difficult to boycott. I too am happy to see a lot more diversity on both the big and small screen. I haven’t seen the movie Widows with Liam Neeson and Violet Davis yet, although it’s on my list because it looks so interesting. However, I read an interview with Violet Davis talking about their love scene. She commented on how for perhaps the first time, here were a Black woman and a White Man in bed together and they were just lovers. He wasn’t her master, she wasn’t a prostitute. She had no make-up on and natural hair. It was just two people who happened to be of different races who were lovers. It’s more than high time to start better reflecting the make-up of our society in the media.
