So, you’ve had the experience of what women have been experiencing for centuries and instead of that instilling empathy, it made you want to blame them all the more. Nice! Instead of contributing to a better world for everyone, you want to make it into a contest.

We live in a dominance hierarchy where those with more power tend to be believed over those who have less. This is what happened to Emmit Till and others like him, and although men, and black men, in particular, are sometimes disbelieved when they shouldn’t be, that’s still only a small percentage of this larger dynamic — the dynamic already identified as the topic for this particular story. Instead of screaming about all the aspects that were left out, why don’t you go write your own story about them?
