What’s wrong with most (nearly all) men-only clubs or institutions is that it’s historically always been that way. It’s no different from saying, “What’s wrong with a club for white guys?” When you have historically had the power and the means to keep everyone else out, you are preventing the very equal opportunity that you purport to value. And why would men want male only clubs?
And whether or not some measure of competitiveness is healthy has no bearing on the statement that you initially made about whether or not it is an inherently androcentric world.
