SMH! 🙄 All workplaces have certain standards of conduct and there is also a huge body of Federal statutes that clearly indicate what kinds of things are unacceptable workplace behavior. It’s not all some unknowable mystery. Edit: It makes me wonder about someone who wants to keep pretending there is no way to actually know what the rules are. It’s makes you seem like you are trying to preserve your right to be abusive. Let’s hope that isn’t the case!

There are very clear lines and when those get crossed, heads should roll — regardless of short term economic impact; again, Integrity! And when the lines are less clear, intelligent adults can make inferences from context, frequency, tone, the impact it had on the victim, etc. and come to a reasonable conclusion. You know bad behavior when you see it; and if you don’t maybe you should do some personal growth work around empathy and The Golden Rule.
