Repeating what I said before, not that it will get through — every single white person has privilege, and every single white man really has privilege regardless of their personal circumstances. I don’t need to know anything about your particular life to know that as a certainty. You could be living in a cardboard box under the overpass dying of a terrible disease and still never have to face things that women and POC have to routinely face. That’s what privilege means. It doesn’t mean that your life is necessarily easy. And the fact that you don’t already recognize that or won’t accept that indicates that you are shallow and intentionally clueless to protect your fragile ego.
You are the one taking valid criticisms of actual dynamics as personal slights. You are the one who is sanitizing real people’s real experiences from the equation and then pretending that you care about fairness. This sentence right here speaks it all: “blaming strangers on the internet for imagined injustices.” SMH — I’m out!
