OK, so what if it’s actually 60/40? What difference does that make in this conversation? I’m decisive, assertive, logical, self-reliant and analytical. I’m also nurturing, intuitive, receptive, creative and cooperative. This pretty much describes my husband as well. We’re both deeply involved in our careers and in raising our son. He loves to cook. I used to mow lawns in the summer when I was in college to make spending money. I know how to put up bookshelves and wire a stereo system together. When we drive somewhere in his car he drives; if we go in my car, I drive. It seems to make you uncomfortable to contemplate people living outside of gendered stereotypes. I wonder why that is?
