Of course this is a more nuanced topic that just what is here, but those bare bones are based in facts. The point of this piece is to speak to the completely un-nuanced assertions that certain types of men like to make. These men are non just complaining that custody hearings are unfair, because I would tend to agree with that. They are saying that they are unfair because it’s women’s fault. This is the part that is idiotic. Men made the laws and for the most part are the judges in these cases.

If I met a guy who wanted to have an actual discussion about the various facets of this topic, I’d be happy to do so. So far I’ve only seen men who want to lob that assertion as a grenade, and I’m simply pointing out that as a weapon, it’s a dud.

And hey, aren’t you that guy who was going on earlier about not lobbing gender-based weapons into conversations? How come all of a sudden you are supporting the men who are doing that exact thing?
