Of course, I didn’t mean to say that you can’t think and have ideas beyond your own experiences. Simply that I believe that our perspectives are highly informed by them. And I can also agree that it’s not always easy to clearly assess someone’s boundaries as being valid or not because we are all complex beings. Only that most people carry a lot of wounds as well as a lot of programming around what relationships are supposed to look like and if someone is willing to tease that all apart they are more likely to find who they authentically are.
