My husband and I were on vacation not that long ago and as we sat down to lunch the woman at the next table started going on about how stunning I was. I’m tall and have pink hair, so I’m not unused to drawing some measure of attention. Plus, I was really hungry and kind of focused on eating, but as we continued to chat a little, I started to get the vibe that she (and her husband) were trying to pick us up although she was doing all the telegraphing. She was cool, but I had no interest in going anywhere near him, so we were just friendly and then went our separate ways. It was the first time I’ve ever had the sense that a woman was actually trying to pick me up in a non-club setting. Maybe as bi-sexuality becomes more mainstream, it will get easier, but I can certainly understand your dilemma.
