That right there is the crux of the problem in general and why Cavill’s comments were so off base. They speak to women as prey and not as human beings to get to know and to form a mutual relationship with — even if it’s just a sexual relationship. There is still plenty of room for sexual tension and flirting in this scenario, for fun and playfullness. There’s probably actually more, because when you remove fear from the equation, who knows what she might actually be up for?
