Lindsey’s outburst was completely calculated and not in the least a spontaneous outburst. It’s purpose was to distract us from the fact that the woman they hired to discredit Ford had ventured down a path that might well have brought the whole house of cards down (and we couldn’t have that!). Unfortunately, it worked- and worked very well. Things were leaning in Dr. Ford’s direction and that single outburst turned the tide. It doesn’t matter that Lindsey came across as a crazy person because he ended up with what he truly wanted. If Hell is a constant movie of the shitty stuff that you did to others in this life, I’m going to imagine that this episode will be one of the major features of his!
