In general, I’m not a huge fan of Meyers Briggs or other similar assessments because it’s easy to choose who you want to be or think you should be rather than who you actually are. The first time I took it I self-reported as an extrovert, when in fact, I’m a pretty classic introvert who just happens to also enjoy spending time with other people, but only in small doses.

Plus, will your co-workers actually remember your personality type and interact with you accordingly? Most likely they won’t. That being said, it can be helpful to better understand yourself and certain aspects of your personality. I didn’t consciously realize I was “slamming doors” until I read about this and it all made sense.
