I’m an enourmous Neil Gaiman fan and Sandman left me flat. I only got through part of the first comic. His book are much more accessible, from my point of view. American Gods, The Ocean at the End of the Lane, The Graveyard Book, Stardust, Good Omens — these are much better, in my opinon.
