I am the queen of encouraging women to fully embrace and own their sexuality. I write erotica and talk freely about my very adventurous sex life right here on Medium. I’m a regular contributor and columnist for Sexography and edit a publication called Sensual Enchantment, so no, I’m not censoring anyone’s fantasies or consensual sexual practices — but that’s obviously not what those movies are portraying — in fact, quite obviously the opposite. If the past couple of years have illuminated anything, it’s that this kind of entitlement to women’s bodies is a HUGE issue that nearly all women have had to contend with.

And I’m not the younger generation — I’m 56 years old. The storylines of “your generation” perpetuate rape culture and they were overwhelmingly written by men. Forcing yourself on someone is not and has never been sexy. The fact that you are trying to defend that says a lot.

This entire comment smacks of guilt.
