I don’t think you need fixing either, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for healing in all of us. Empathy is always a bridge, and it does help with being more non-judgemental, as you’ve said.
I firmly believe that people don’t need to be saved or rescued. They need knowledge of their own power and and how to access it. I hope you will enjoy the book, if even from a purely intellectual perspective. It’s pretty straightforward and unesoteric.
I do agree that some humans are naturally more reserved than others but don’t agree that this has anything to do with gender. I think that part is very socialized in. But that’s OK — we don’t have to agree on absolutely every little thing. In fact, it’s probably more interesting if we don’t. 😁
