I don’t have any issue with a guy wanting to tell me about what he thinks about something. I do, however, have a lot of issues with him telling me what I think or what I meant by X…… this, to me, is the essence of mansplaining. The other issue is with “explaining” a woman’s own book, job or perspective to her. Incredibly insulting and overtly sexist. No two ways about it!
