I agree Wyatt Edward Gates, but there is some genuine fear there. Fear of not knowing how to be a man when all the old structures are being dismantled, fear of how you will fare in a world that doesn’t grant you favorable position out of hand, etc. Men have feared the inherent natural wildness and sexual power of women for 5K years. That’s part of how we got to patriarchy in the first place. And although I certainly sympathize with that, I don’t have any sympathy for those who are refusing to grapple with those fears in favor of doubling down on repression and control.
