What if they stated what they believe in, policy-wise — made their case — and counted on the process to work.”
I think this is what Beto O’Rourke is attempting to do in Texas by going to every county and meeting with voters of all stripes, by not accepting PAC money, but trying to really connect with that his potential constituents care about in a common sense way. Whether or not he’ll prevail remains to be seen, but right now he is neck and neck with Cruz, which is frankly, remarkable.
