Feminism is a range of political movements, ideologies, and social movements that share a common goal: to define, establish, and achieve political, economic, personal, and social equality of sexes. This includes seeking to establish educational and professional opportunities for women that are equal to those for men.

There is no ethical way to support continued inequality. And if you try to say there is no inequality (or patriarchy), I refer you back to all of the mountain of evidence I’ve already cited. Trying to convince me or yourself through some kind of mental gymnastics that you are somehow a good person who just happens to be full of excuses for why the real plight of fellow human beings isn’t actually so bad — it’s just not going to fly.

And you still have utterly failed to make your case about how having laws that support that a man has a right to his wife’s body, whether or not she agrees, is not part and parcel of patriarchy. I’m not even talking about particular instances -I’m talking about codified into the societal structure = patriarchy. Looking forward to your attempt at a slippery response……….
