Cool to learn more about you, although I realized that through our talks, I actually knew quite a bit of this already. Here’s mine:

  1. I’m 6 feet tall and when I was travelling in Scandinavia, no-one looked at me twice — I fit right in.
  2. I’m a huge animal lover and have 2 cats and a dog.
  3. My partner, James Neil Clarke, and I have been together for 30 years.
  4. I have another life partner besides James. His name is Nathanial (Nat) but I don’t get to see him much anymore since we moved to the other side of the country a few years ago. This doesn’t alter our relationship status at all, however. He’s just as much my life partner as always.
  5. There are a lot of things like that in my life which don’t make sense to most people. It’s taken me a long time, but I’ve gotten comfortable with that and believe that if it works for me/us that is all that matters.
  6. James and I have a son on the autism spectrum. This has helped me to learn to embrace non-traditional life and to see many of it’s upsides.
  7. I have a lot of metaphysical training and use that in conjunction with my training as a life coach to assist my clients to heal and grow.
  8. I’ve been doing that kind of work for about 12 years and I love it! I have the very best job in the entire world!! Last week 2 of my clients told me that they love me — not in a romantic sense, but in an “I’m so glad I get to spend time with you” sense. It’s very humbling and gratifying.
  9. Joining Medium and getting to know myself as a writer has been one of the best experiences of my life. I’ve met some pretty cool people here too. James Jordan, included.
  10. I’m the editor and head writer of Sensual Enchantment, a Medium-based zine for erotic stories that have an otherworldly component: sacred sexuality, hot sci-fi, mystical or fantasy elements. I’m enjoying watching that grow and in reading all kinds of cool new stories that fit that profile.
